New to the site(and most excellent!). Bought my black Typs-S last year May. Just curious to find out if any of you experienced the same prob. When I start up my car and take off, 2 loud buzzing/vibrating noises feeds back from my breaks. The dealer told me it's ABS diagnostics, it's standard on all Honda's and Acura. But a year later - it's getting so loud - I can hear it with stereo cranked up high. It's really bugging me now!

Yup, just ABS depressurizing, don't worry bout it. happens to everyone.

If the noise is definitely getting louder than it was in the past, bring it in to the dealer and have them check the ABS pump.

It's not very common, but I've seen pumps fail before, and the first sign of failure is usually a LOUD pump.

I can't hear my ABS pump with the stereo on. I must be getting ready for a hearing aid, since I only hear it with the windows down *and* the stereo down (just after startup driving down my driveway at 2-3 MPH!

When a noise gets louder in a car, I would think a trip to a "GOOD" dealer would be a good idea.

If it is your ABS, your talking about your brakes and your safety -- please get it checked out. I sure haven't heard about this being "normal" on the CL/CLS.

You guys are making a big deal out of nothing. If you hear a humming or a buzzing sound after you start your car and moving, it is your brakes pressurizing or depressurizing. Something it will go off twice and with in a couple of seconds of each other. No big deal. Do not more about it.
