I'd say that's not too bad considering I bought mine used as well & a salvage one at that for $10.5K roughly 4 yrs ago w/ about 72K miles. It's got 109K miles now w/o any issues whatsoever (knock on wood). Although some folks do report tranny problems w/ our cars, there are some that have no issues. btw, welcome to the site! Lots of info to be had here...try posting some pics once you've decided on purchasing & gl with your decision. Oh, also see if you can find an '03 CLS due to the 6 speed manual!!!

I'd say I drive somewhere in between mid to pedal to the metal....lol
Put it this way, I don't "baby" my car, I guess it just depends on the driving conditions & who's in the car w/me....

I have a little over 130k on my '01, and it has been the best car I have ever owned!~ I bought it with almost 120k miles, and still no problems. (knock on wood!)
And, if you compare it to other cars in its class, feature for feature, for the price, the CL is just amazing! Just make sure you get the service records if possible, and get the CarFax.
Price sounds about right.
Good Luck!

I think I may upgrade to a CLS too since the 350Z insurance may be higher than I want...just to be clear the tranny problems are only on the autos?? or auto cls??

My 01' CLS auto had 120k miles on it when i got it 3 months ago. Clean title, 2nd owner, for $6,800 at Piazza Acura of Reading. Ive had no problems with the tranny let alone anything with the car.
