there are bulbs for both lights(side marker and parking light) in each headlight that are clear but blink the normal amber color. does anyone have experience with this and know the brand and part numbers for both sides?

You'll need bulbs #1157 and #194. Are you talking about the silver coated bulbs that dont reflect that blink amber? I have no experience but I'll be installing them soon. I went with http://www.stealthauto.com/Store/ because other brands still arent completely silver. These are more expensive but Ill find out if its worth it or not.

 

at first, i thought about those that are silvered/chromed over. but, i think i rather have the clear bulbs with the amber filament. what brand of bulbs were you talking about?

 

Sylvania Silverstar are the ones you want. Clear blubs that blink amber. Check with Pepboys, or Schucks Auto.

i got chrome amber bulbs.

 

theres no such thing as a clear bulb w/ amber filament.

-amber coated bulb
-clear bulb that luminates a yellow-whote
-chrome covered bulbs
-sylvania silverstars

for the chomre bulbs you can go to the above link. i have the same ones and they light up ok.

on a side note im selling the 1157 silverstars which light up much brighter.
