Broke my Polargs and need help to get the glass out

I'm sure this was already posted but can someone post it again and maybe put it in the FAQ section. I'm sure there will be more people who will be needing them. Also, does the lens come off or do I have to remove the housing and shake it out?

gotta remove the housing and shake it out-welcome to the club.
the housing is reely easy to remove--look in your grille next to the lights and you will see a small slot in the sides of the grille. that allows you to get a screwdriver to the attachment screw-there is only one per light. push the assembly from behind to pop it out and unscrew the bulb harness. go get a coke and get comfy in a nice chair and start tryin to get all of those pieces to come out--use a pair of tweezers for the big ones-maybe a vacuum cleaner?? enjoy.

I think I'm going with the sylavania 15watt. The polargs seem like too much trouble.
Can someone post digicam pics of the polargs being installed?

Yup, well one burned out so I tried to get them out as slow as I could but it just wouldn't budge. They are much easier going in than coming out. Anyway, I broke the first one and not wanting to have two different color bulbs, I tried to get the other one out but the same thing happened. That really sucks. They were the best matching bulbs that I've ever seen. Pisses me off.

OKAY! I used ESS's instructions about removing the casing, cleaning the lamp schrapnel, and putting in the new M6's, and it went just like he said.

One question, what can I use the old 19169's for? Don't say suppositories....I mean in the car! *smarta$$e$*

Use them as your interior bulbs.
Suppositorially, they look tight!
