Brights in your CL

What do you guys have for Brights in your CL.
I have the stocks which look horrible compared to the low beams when their on.
I seen someone with amber HIDs
like that look a lot. just dont know if I want to spend the money on an aftermarket kit for that.
plus the aftermarket kits are not as good as factory
seem to have little problems

Im assuming when you say "Brights" you mean the high-beams?

High-beams aren't really for show, you use them mainly for the extra light in darker areas, like the country side or suburbs.

I just put some of those Sylvannia Silverstar Ultras in there since I have 3000K bulbs in my lowbeams.

If you really wanna make it match your low-bemas, you could always put in those "HID look-a-like" halogen bulbs.

People should be less concerned with how headlights 'look' and more concerned with how well they do their job and respect the eyes of other drivers.

I have PIAA platinum's in mine. They are white & DOT approved. The color is close to HID.

the Sylvannia bulbs are like $50 a set I think but the local Murray's around my area are doing a deal with bulbs where you bring in an old set and you get $20 off your new set.

My low-beams appear "stock" when you look at the housing from any angle, unless you look directly at the beam, and the light that is given off is yellow, so sorta like a bright yellow fog lamp light.

And if you really care about 'looks' buy the 1157 bulbs for your turn signals from Sylvannia too. They give off the amber light when on and when off they look nice during the day because of the opalescent coating on the bulb.
