I have the S-03's 235/45/17 on stocks and they are perfect. I have about 7k miles and still look good no problems.

I have the RE730's and love them.. I originally had the S03's but returned them after 2 weeks becuase of horrible traction problems. I know it sounds nutz .. maybe I had a rotten pair or I dont know but I broke them in drove a shitload in 2 weeks and they were horrible so I downgraded to the 730 and LOVE these tires .. great wear considering I drive like an animal.. I would reccomend them to anyone

Man that sucks about the S03's. Probably a bad set. I drive the hell out of mine and the car sticks to the road. Maybe you drive harder than me :P

Maybe your S03s were made during the Firestone Management Training week...

Ride quality is the same for me. I havn't noticed any more noise from them either. But I blast the radio so I might not notice. I'll check it out tomorrow.

I just got the S03's and, so far I'm seriously impressed. Incredibly stiction. We had a horrendous rain last night in So Cal and they stuck like crazy with no hydroplaining or floating.... Felt just like it was dry.

Well you are right I guess I can't compare :P but I checked anyways. Seems to be a little noise I guess. From what I remember when I test drove one that it seemed pretty quiet. It definatly wouldnt bother me to hear a little noise. But when I say a little I mean very little. Shit...it might be the same as stock...I don't remember. I would get em if I were you. They are well worth it.
