Got myself a new Type S for 8k. No issues at all. First thing i did was upgrade tires from 235/45/17 to 255/40/17. Love the look and handles great!

One more next to my other toy

Wowzers, that's cheap! How many miles? Can't be much, that paint looks mint. 6MT or 5AT?

A friend at work has an 07-08 TLS in black. Looks like the evil twin to my WDP.

Anyway, enjoy! The TL is a great car and the TLS is even better.

And thanks! I love the TL

It might have the clear 3M wrap on it. That stuff is worth it's weight in gold.

People are always like "I ain't spending $1000 on getting my whole front end wrapped in that stuff !"

But then their car gets sandblasted over the years and they come back asking "is it a bad idea to spend 2000+ to repaint the front of my car?"

Seriously?!

Thanks guys! I don't know if the front has ever been re-sprayed. I would assume so as well since it looks pretty clean for the mileage. It does not have the wrap though. that could be something i do in the future though..

As requested, here are a few different shots of the 255/40/17s. I have the BFGoodrich G-Force 2s.

I can take better ones tomorrow if these don't suffice

Big game tomorrow. GO DUCKS!

Forgot the rear picture. Its dark but you can kinda see the tires..

Awesome! I almost picked one up but ended up finding a 2004 TL 5AT for a steal with low miles or I would have gotten the high mileage TL-S

Very clean. You didnt pay much more than I paid for my base 6MT. And I only had 25K less miles!

Those tires look great and the wheels are in great shape. PO beat up my wheels by repeatedly running into the curb... I was reading some threads on 255/40/17 tires and a bunch of people were skeptical, but those looke like the perfect size to me. Granted those threads are a bit old so 255s might be a lot more common place now.

Sorry guys, was playing in Vegas..

Delayed reply because i was losing money in Vegas. We rented a car and i requested an Acura TL. The lady looked at me and said, "We have a Toyota Camry". So a 2015 Camry is what we ended up with. Needless to say, I missed my car!

Interior pictures as requested:

He's an Acura Baby

150k

One more with the 255s. I can't say enough good things about them. The stance is much better, ride is smoother, handles amazing, and protects the wheels!

I did a lot of reading before i made the decision for 255's. I am loving everything about them! IMO, perfect tire size for the TL. Hard to come by. I found mine after a month of looking on craigslist. Came off of a stock c5 Corvette. Best of luck!

Nice Type S. I'm thinking of selling my brand new Rubicon with 37's because my elderly dog is really struggling to get in and out.

The one downside to the Type S is the back seat doesn't have much room on the floor so he would still be jumping out. Seat would also have to have some padding to raise the seat to match the center hump for comfort when laying down. So many decisions and I wish I could afford both, but I can't. I've also put so much money into my Jeep that it makes it a really hard decision. The Type S would save me lots of money since I have only had the Rubicon for 9 months and owe $38K still. I've put another $17K into it.

eh no need for new headlights, just a solid headlight restoration should do or take it to a professional detailer

I might have to try that method ^ but the 3M one is pretty easy to use and is decent, just make sure you put a sealant on your headlights or put a clear bra piece over it because otherwise it will fog up in 6 month or so
