brakes.

just to let evryone know that doesnt already, DO NOT GO TO ANY OLD MECHANIC TO GET THE PADS CHANGED. GO TO AN ACURA DEALER. i got my pads changed somewhere that deals with everything and the aftermarket pads fucked up my rotors. so go to acura.

Did you ask what kinda pads were gonna be used? if not, then its your own fault. You shoulda told them to use a reputable brand name brake pad or next time, bring your own pads.

Your machanic sucks. My brakes suck because the rotors Acura put on them are crap.

here is what you do:
1. Do research on this forum, find pads/rotors that you like and have least number of people complaining.
2. Order parts online. If you want, you can even buy OEM Acura parts online.
3. Go to a mechanic you trust, and have him install it.

it'll save you lots of $$$, and if you buy good non-OEM stuff you will have better stuff

Better yet Do-It-Yourself, brakes are real easy to do plus the money you save can go into better parts.

a c-clamp, beer, the search tab and some general tools you got yourself a great mechanic.
Usually its when they cut the disks bad what messes up the pads
