brake pedal shakes when braking to a stop (not my rotors)

ive noticed this ever since i have been using my heat cause of the cold. i will be coming up to a stoplight or stopsign and right around the 5 mph area as im braking, i will feel the brake pedal vibrate some.

obviously its not my rotors cause its at 5 mph and they were just cut. do you think its something with my heater, cause it doesnt seem to do it when the heat is off.

o and i briefly searched, but i figured i would get a quicker answer here.

I Really don't think it has anything to do with your heat.
Have you had any of these performed recently:
Alignment ?
Wheel Balance?
Hit any extravagant holes in the road?

front and rear have been resurfaced and alignment, balance have been taken care of a few months back when i rotated my tires.

the thing is, this doesnt happen when im braking at anyother speed except like 5 mph. its right before i come to a complete stop.

im asking if it has anything to do with the heat, cause i was driving tonight, with the heat on it did it, then i turned it off, like 5 minutes later, it didnt do it.

That is very strange then. I would take it in, sounds like this could become complicated.

Does it feel like its grinding at 5 mph?

Might be warped. Warped rotors cause are uneven rotor surfaces which will cause that grinding or vibration.

^ He said they were just re-cut recently. Doubtful they are warped.

Did they replace the pads when they re-cut the rotors?

i had my rotors cut, but the car was still vibrating when braking...might have been a bad job, or maybe something else...have you had these rotors cut before?

I did have a situation where my 1st car had the rotors resurfaced and I was told not to do heavy braking for a while. They still ended up warping.

I would think it is a bad recut job.

at 5 mph, do u honestly think it could be from rotors? it seems too slow to even tell. and my steering wheel does not shake, thats why i dont think its them.

31k miles pretty much rules out the master cylinder.

Did they replace the pads when they cut the rotors?

it has to be brakes, wheels or axles.

Your heater and brakes are two systems that as far as I know, are completely unrelated.

Check motor / tran mounts. It may be that one of the front motor mounts are kaput. My fronts went bad (fluid drained), and I got a vibration. Heater and front mounts (I think) use vacuum which may be the common denominator.
