My battery died today. After I jumped it, my brake light won't turn off. Anybody know how I can get this light to turn off?

 

Check your brake fluid level.

 

When my battery was dead and I had it jumped, lights just came on and stuff....mostly the brake or ABS light. I think they told me that there is a voltage sensor and that's normal. After you change your battery, it'll be okay.

 

I didn't need to change my battery though...I had left my lights on, and after I jumped it it was fine.

 

Does the light still come on? Mine came on since my battery was constantly putting out a low voltage and that's what the service tech at Acura told me. Maybe after your battery is charged back, the light will go away.

I noticed the light would only come on after a jump after I drive it a little. Right after the jump, the light stayed off.

 

The light has been on constantly. How long does it take for the battery to completely charge up...it's been over 24 hours now.
