My 03 CLS-6 does that from time to time when really cool out. I think it may be ever so slightly low brake fluid(cool fluid takes less space than warm fluid or flows less or something). After a stop or two the light goes out. The grabbing might just be the rotors getting slightly rusty. I notice that often if I wash my car and park it in the garage for the night. The next morning the brakes will be really grabby as I back out.

The float likes being all the way at the top. Add fluid and it goes away most of the time.

However if u gotlowfluid it's likely cause ur brake pads are on their last legs and therefore u need new pads at a minimum

Check pads. Also brake fluid needs to be changed every 2 years.

Had this happen to me before. It ended up resolving completely by just readjusting the cap/floater. of course it wouldn't hurt to at least look into whether or not the lines need to be bled... which is usually the other cause, afaik.
