Brake light acting wierd

Anybody have their brake light come on when the parking brake is not pulled up? It came on and then went off in like 20 mins. When its on and I pull the parking brake up, it appears to get a little brighter.

I don't think the CL has a circuit to detect a broken tail-light, does it? My NSX had that...

Any ideas... I am going to take a look in there today.

Hmm... looks like low-fluid level can activate this - pretty cool!

yeah a low fluid will activate this becasue our cars don't have sepearte parking brake lights...and for another reason our cars master cylinder sensors ar EXTREMELY sensitive.

I had the same problem, brother, and after my reading on A-CL, I discovered that the sensor in the cap of the brake fluid thing is on crack.

So I undid it, cleaned it a bit, put it back, and it worked like a charm.

What's the tail light gotta do with this? I wish I could say "my" NSX had something too =)

The NSX has a ton of little bulbs that make up the tail-light and spoiler assembly. If ANY of those bulbs burn-out, you get a light in the dash saying rear-brake lights are out!

NSX was a 1992 model. Mods were 19" and 18" Work Rezak II wheels, Intake, Header, Exhaust etc. - nothing really major really.
