Brake fluid

I know this doesn't really belong in the CL forum, but...
I just changed the brake fluid on my '00 explorer.....good god, what a difference. May I suggest you all that do not already to do this.....

well, i knew it was good to change, but the response from the brakes is so much better than before......i didn't tell my wife I did it, and she called me when she took her car and asked why she was stopping so well, she thought the e-brake was on...

goes to show how much water gets in the fluid even when the system is not "opened"

nope..fluid level was fine....it looked horrible though....a dark green color....

I'm sure it was opened when it was checked. And if you go long enough, it will turn to crap no matter what.

nope...no sputtering when bleeding, just a good flow of nasty fluid.
