Some asshole just did a hit and run on my friend's brand new tl. the problem is that his parents don't know yet and he is going to get in so much trouble when they found out. i was wondering if anyone knows any good shops that can repair a dent on the front fender in southern california? any advice would be appreciated and would $200 bucks be enough to cover the repair?

You definately need to post a picture to see how much it will cost. Could be $200, could be $600. If someone hit his car then ran off, why would he get in trouble. I know it sucks but its not his fault.

 

i don't really know why, but he said his parents get pissed and could possibly take away his driving privileges, and it's not his car. he was just driving it for the day. ill try and get some pics. thanks

Too bad your in CA, I would go over to your friends house and slap his parents silly.....like the movie Airplane, when everyone lines up to bitch slap the flipped out passenger- "Get ahold of yourself."

Edit: Even if the car isn't is, its not his fault.....whatever.

 

where in southern cali are you guys? if your friend is anywhere near rosemead go to seidners collision center on lower azusa and rosemead blvd. ask for rocky. great work my car just came out of their shop. they painted my left fender for free

Tell him to grow some balls and tell mom and dad that he fucked his ride up!

I don't know how your friend would expect to get away with this. Usually body shops take atleast a couple days. They do have other cars they work on. I would think your friend's parents would notice something peculiar when they see their son but no TL. The truth route would seem to work better here...I don't know...he should risk his parents being mad now rather than exploding later when they find out not only did their TL got hit, but their son lied to them too.
