I was on my way home from work... yea working on xmas sux... well this ricor corolla pulls up next to me... i hear a pssssh i was like o chit he got turbo... he was trying to race me.... im like he prolly gon whoop up on me... this guys car was 3 diff colors bondo all over etc... i thought he had a sleeper or something... im like screw it lets see wut he can do after the 3rd light in a row he got next to me and tried to race me... i spun for a split second and he had 1/2 a car on me... by 2nd i was a car up... 3rd 4-5 cars... so i slow down kuz i dont wanna get pulled over going over 90.... he flys by and puts on his hazards so im like hell no... im still in 3rd about 4k rpm.. so i gun it hit vtec and reel him in... as soon as im passing him i smell burnt oil... i think its my car im like o chit my cars gonna die.. then all of a sudden his car drops back i put on my hazards and stop at the next light he pulls up next to me rolls down his window ask wut i got i told him cls 6 speed with aem cai.. thats it.. he was like yea i got 15psi on my corola im running mid 13s i was like ummm ok... but u still got beat by my 14.3 sec car which is prolly slower now with bigger rims etc... he says lets go again im like wutever... lets rock... light turns green i take off normal and was gonna let him gun it and not race him plus i think my car smells from the oil burning or something... he guns it 2 secs later boom i hear it... his hazards come on and pulls over to the side and i see smoke comming from his engine bay... kinda made my day... i smiled rolled down my window waved and kept going.

damn sucks. takes a blown engine to make you smile. Kinda cruel aint it. J/K Damn sucks to be that guy for a blown engine. And sucks to be you for working on christmas. All in all i dont know if I should say good kill or that wasnt nice for not stopping... Since its the holiday season I will say GOOD KILL!!!

 

On a not so funny note my buddy blew his engine racing me! This was over a year ago and he had a pinched hose he somewhat knew about (his boost would spike and he had just installed a new bumper that morning). Anyway, he was going to fix it in the morning and we are driving home late at night no one on the road. So we slow to 60 and punch it. Anyway I pull ahead upto about 95 by a couple cars when he starts reeling me in. I stop at about 110 (a- too fast even on the highway b- no point in 4th gear), at this point he had made it to my bumper when all od a sudden he starts falling back. I'm pumped and call him to tell him good run and he's like, "not really, I think I just blew my motor!" I get off the next exit and turn around and when I finally find him (he got off the first exit he could) his car is just bleeding oil everywhere. Got the car towed and drove him home. after getting his new engine he showed me the old and the hole was the size of my fist!
