What is a flashing maint req'd when u turn on the car mean? It's oil change reminder right?

 

Liq, how many miles do you have? I think the maint light lets you know when u need to do one of those scheduled maintenance like the Type, 2,3,4

It depends on the miles...check the owner's manual it will tell you what is needed.
to reset the maint light put key in the ignition press and hold the select and reset buttons turn the key to the acc. mode( you don't have to start the car) the maint light will flash a few times then shut off. continue to press the buttons turn the ignition key off, then let go of the the buttons.

 

it blinks when your close to maint. and when you pass the maint period it stays on. 7500, 15000, 30000, 45000 etc...

 

Is Acura trying to save money by not including owners manuals?

 

I believe it says in the owners manual that the blinking light is an indicator to warn you that it's time to start saving some dough, again...
