I have seen the kit but I kinda thought that it was too much blackwood...I think just the wheel is a good balance...

i already have the dash kit, cluster and right side a/c vents - thought the center console aftermarket is just too much, the wheel will fill in just right

the wheel and the trim is still on sale from acura (summer wood promotion) the brownwood offers the shift knob as well - see your local dealer for details, i think the steering wheel retails for $499.95 but its on special until the end of sep

Is the "wood" part of the blackwood steering wheel genuine wood or the same plastic stuff as the door trim?

yes, it is just plastic...but I actually really prefer the feel of it to the original all leather wheel...
Ideally I'd like to have a small (320mm) momo wheel like I have in my VW

but since that has no space for an airbag, I can't really do it legally....

It cost me $80.00 at Weir Canyon to have it installed. Acura is running a special until the end of September, for the wheel $300.00 vs $499.00.

Acura_Service. This wheel you are getting, is it the same as Astroboy's or is it the TL styled one with a shiny emblem in palce of our stock embossed one?

its the same, you only get the wheel, its bare bones, no hornpad or cruise/radio buttons, they have to be transfered
