Just got back from Mercedes Benz In Montvale NJ for training
on this - even know its all leather and wood inside its quite
serious about off roading

My friend's dad used to have one. It looked the same but their's was called a G- Something wagon not a G500, i dont think. Everyone called it the G-Wagon. It was some huge word that started with G. Anyway it was an awesome SUV but they had to find a private importer to get it into the states

I thought there was only one company in the US that imported them and tuned them to US specs...I think they are based out of Arizona or something.

I was gonna ask about that....b/c i remember reading in a old...what's that bling bling magazine called....Robb Report...anyways...I remember reading an add for the g class in Rob Report that the G500 was priceed similar to the cl600!!!!
