Best Way To Start For An Cls At

What is the best way to get a good whole shot with a CLS AT.
1. In first
2. Or in D4 or D3 or even D5

I am going to the track next wed and i want to see what I run with stock.

Also what is the take on an AEM cold air intake VS. ICEBOX CT Intake

u gotta browse through a couple to find what u need specifically. me being illiterate while using the search function, thought that PIAA 19225 bulbs would fit in my road lamps, when i tried to swap them out 5 minutes ago i saw the huge difference in bulb size. i was off by 1....

stop actin like a b#%@h

I might be out of line saying this but I thought this was a forum where acura owers can chat with other acura owners about our beloved automobiles. Keyword being chat. Why is it everytime I see someone ask a question, stupid or not, some little punk ass pussy has to talk shit. This is open discussion, and YOU BITCHES DON'T RUN SHIT so quit being so fucking phony. I personally been wanting to ask about making my motor a 3.5 I'm ignorant so what. I still don't know if its a larger crank or what. Why is it so bad to ask a question online in a forum based chat room about related subjects?

This isn't a chat room, i'm sorry if you feel it is. Topics such as the one which originally started this thread have been covered dozens of times and it is pointless to start a new thread about it when a quick search could get you a response much faster.

There's a thread that is current and open for discussion on the first page of this forum regarding the 3.5L swap. Maybe if you looked around a little instead of throwing a temper tantrum in this thread you wouldn't be so bitter

Personally, im sick of reading these forums everyday and seeing the same shit on the top, 90% of the new threads lately now consist of the following:
1. How do i make my cl faster?
2. Can i get a turbo for my cl-s, even though i would never be able to afford it nor actually do it but i am just asking for the 10th time for the helll of it?
3. My tranny is broken what do i do?
4. Whats better AEM or ICEBOX?
5. How do i make my cl faster?
6. My (insert item here) is messed up but i am still under warranty and i am just going to take it to the dealership anyways to get it fixed, but tell me what I need to do anyways.

OK, I figure it's time someone actually answer the questions (no searching necessary)....

The best way to start: The car always starts in 1st, so having it in D3 or D4 makes no difference to an automatic transmission. It will take the same amount of time to switch gears until it reaches the gear you have it set in. So the best way to start is in SportShift mode. Even in this mode the car will automatically shift from 1st to 2nd but you control it from there. And make sure you turn the Traction Control off.

AEM and Comptech give the same gains as far as speed and horsepower are concerned. The main difference that is noticeable is the sound. AEM = loud and noticeably modified, Comptech = quiet as stock at lower rpm's, then growls when you reach v-tec.

Between the bitch ass moderators, and the guys that forgot what it was to be a FNG this forum has definetley taken a turn for the worse. You can't post shit anymore without somebody having something smart to say..........from the protection of their computers.

Its not really an issue of protection as much as it is the fact that the use of these forums requires a computer.

the problem isn't people saying "do a search noob". it's the people that take those comments too seriously.

I came onto this forum as a true having never been on an internet forum before this one. and would not have known about the search function unless one person told me. Granted it got old after the fourth or fifth thread of mine that somebody posted it in, but every thread with a topic that's been covered before requires at least one person to say it. so get over it and lighten up......

before I kick your ass (hope you guys don't take that too seriously)

When the hell did the words "do a search" become "go f**k yourself?" Some sensitive people here.

If you are unhappy with your take off, experiment with gate shifting. Personally I like the Icebox better than the AEM.
