The Best Thing About The CL...is...

The memory seats. I have an arthritic right hip and without this system I could never get in without minipulating the seat first. I simply press #1 from the #1 remote and I have it arranged in memory so the seat goes all the way back to let me in. Then once in, I press #2 for my driving position. Thank you Acura.

Thats cool. It would really be nice if the steering wheel went up and the seat slid back when you turned the car off like my moms Q

Mines setup the same way. Except since I have the Viper, I set mem 1 all the way back, so it's easy to get in & out, When I'm in the seat, I press mem2 for my driving position. Granted I have to press mem1 when I exit the car too, but I do it so much, it's natural now.

i'd say the engine(power) and navi is what sold me on the car. now i just want it gone due to resale and being on tranny#2 @32k. but i dont want to get rid of the car i LOVE it i just wished it held more value and honda would fix the tranny thing once and for all.

Hey there Coconut head,

I do the same thing. I read about the #1, #2 seat settings here on al.com, while doing a search for other stuff (it's amazing how much info, and crap, you can find while searching). I figure that with the seat back I won't wear out the drivers side bolster on the seat (when the seat is foward, I tend to rub against it while getting in).

The best thing is VALUE. It's about the whole package. Seat memory, heated seats (I'm spoiled now, I'll never own another car without heated seats) etc. etc. I had to use my heated mirrors this morning too, cool. The extras are nice for the price.

The J32 engine w/ the 6spd is the best drivetrain I've ever owned (I've owned some crappy cars, so this doesn't suprise me). I chirpped 2nd yesterday (1700 miles, so I don't usually drive it like I stole it), and while on the highway dropping from 6th to 4th is a blast.

The best thing is that I got all this for less then other cars in the same class. My only regret is that I should have gotten navi

A-men to that Greenmonster. Can you believe that last week I got a chance to use the heated seats? Well, maybe for 5 minutes...but at least I know they work!

The Legend Coupe & Sedan did this way back in 1992.
I guess it’s one of the features that Acura got rid of to save money.
I’m not sure if the RL carried this feature over or not.

Another cool “feature” the Coupe I had came with was a motor that literally pulled the door closed when it was close to the frame.

Noooo! Wow, I never heard of that. I guess you'd have to be careful that some kid doesn't lose a finger when the motor closed the door.

Yes the RL does indeed do it with the steering wheel, when I was driving them around as the porter at Valencia Acura, I was surprised at first, when I put the key in the ignition, it just started dropping.

The G35 sedan seats slide back and forward when getting in and out of the car, but just slightly.

I never thought about using the memory seats to adjust the seats...my biggest fear was wearing on the side bolsters both on the seat backs as well as the seat bottoms. I will set this up soon then so I can get in and out easier without wearing them. They are starting to wrinkle now though.

You'll love this feature. I never thought about the wearing of the seat part. I guess that's just another +.

1) the cup holder thing that opens up. its sooo freakin cool.
2) the "Type S" logo on the auto shift knob. thats primo.
3) tight feeling seats, very comfortable, way better than my dad's 540i.

yeah, i may complain sometimes, but I LOVE MY CAR!!!!!
