yea xs headers is the way to go. espically for the money. cheap and good results. better sound and more power. also you could think about getting a crank pulley for some more power. but definately go with headers first. you can search for other topics about these headers and find out what other people think about them also

depends if you're doing the work yourself, or if you're paying a shop to do it.
If you can do the work yourself, you'll save more money, thus leaving more money for mods
Where mods get expensive is in installation labor.
the intake/headers/exhaust combo always work well.

how do these affect a 2001 cl-p hp wise, and dose it still pass an emissions test? Most posts i've seen about headers is geared to a type s gaining 30 hp(at the wheels?). I know if i wanted to go fast i shoulda started w/ a type s, but it's more of curriosity, as i wouldnt have ever paid 1200 dollars for headers, but 150, i could see doing that when i got some cash lying around.

your answer...
My Dyno, CL-P @ 206 whp
with headers, intake, UniChip, deleted mufflers, and UR underdrive crank pulley, I did the math and with all that it gave me an extra 50 ponies from 225 hp stock.
Now I have (with what I dynoed with)
-RT high flow cat
-custom cat catback
-Mugen cooling mods
-Outlaw Engineering spacers
-ported Type-S Intake IM
the cooling mods don't really add HP, they keep it from running away from heat soaking so HP isn't lost.
(with all that I have no idea but I'd assume 15-30 hp extra. only a dyno would tell me though.)
-Engine being converted to a Type-S 3.5 soon

got the headers
i bought the xs power headers just had them installed and its pretty good. I feel i got more out of the intake then the mufflers but i could definitely be wrong. either way i spend 200 on a spoiler 100 on an intake and 150 on headers plus 250 for installation and my cl-s is better than ever. Thanks for your help.

Nope, box says Accord, but the headers are for all acura and honda v6s. Just make sure to order the 6spd ones if you have a 6spd! Do a search for XS Power Headers and you will find way more info than you could possible need.
