That may be, but at the track it was:

CAI/Icebox 4 - Headers 0

I had just an Icebox and beat the guys with just headers . . . the reality is that while headers make more at the top RPM, I've already pulled them in the low and midrange off the line and that extra 18HP at the top end was not enough to close the gap.

Hence . . . how many guys are running 14.5 with just headers? I'm doing that with just an Icebox.

Now who has some used CTs for 500 or less

I think I understand what you're saying, but if you compare these two graphs, it obviously shows that CT provides the same gains as alphawerks does with an intake installed. Please explain using these two charts below what you mean.

Headers for 6MT

Now is Comptech the only company that makes headers that fit the 6MT?

from my personal experience and other comments i read on the board a cls with an intake vs a cls with headers, the cls with headers will win in the 1/4 mile or any type of race. when i installed my intake my time went down a bit but not nearly as much as when i installed my headers.
im not trying to start any war, 14.5 with only an intake is very good. your car is above average. and good runs with the header guys

I Like Alpha Werks...many people were afriand of fitment issues compared to Comptech...I had an issue while installing them...but adjusting them around some I got them to fit firmly and in place...So I guess Alpha Werks is a very good bang for the buck...

Must be poor driver j/k

I've never lost to a header only TypeS. Maybe I did get a fast one.
