well, he's bone stock except for the drop-in k&n filter...

seriously, though, I think nitrotiger's runs are the best stock times I've seen so far.

does anyone know if he made any adjustments to his car before running? (ie, tire pressure, low fuel level, tire/jack out of the trunk, etc?)

I stand corrected. 32 psi, I'm not sure about the fuel level, tire/jack were in the trunk.

Tank, I see 14.5-14.6 bonestock next season with some tweaks (tire psi, jack/spare, etc.)

I think just having the tires set at something less than 38 psi ( ) and the gas tank with less than 17 gallons in it would be a major improvement.

(hey, when I said bone stock, I meant just like I drove it off the dealer's lot... )

I ran a 15.03 @ 92.8 the only time I raced it stock. Great 60' times due to the track being sticky, but to hot to run faster times.

Just thought this might help at a reference. Also, we ran into the wind.

I ran the car with a little less than half a tank and i had a the spare and the jack in the car. and the tires were at 32psi that'a how i drive the car everyday so i am keeping it real!!!

and the k+n drop in doesn't help hp it just gave me better gas mileage!!

bone stock = no mods

k&n filter = mod

zapata's point was that you ran your time "bone stock." if the k&n was installed, that isn't technically the case, now is it?

(but I agree it probably doesn't help hp much if at all.)

A k&N filter will not net .2 difference in the E.T. unless your stock filter has been used as a plate for making mud pies or something.
