Before anyone says anything, lets just make this clear, this wasnt a real race....... Ok now with that in mind, I was driving home from work around 7 something, traffic is normal, not bad going at about 40-50mph, lots of cars though. All the sudden I see a brand new M5 still with the sticker license on it, so I quickly cut in and out trying to get behind it to take a look at it. When I got behind it, I might have got up too close to him(hey I just wanted a closer look), well he thought I wanted to race, so he steps on it cut to the next lane. He was so fast that I felt like I was standing still, so I followed, he then cut again and again, it was so cool everytime he cuts, his car is sooooo nice and he cuts with such precision and the car was so fast and stable, even though we both never went over 70 due to traffic, I had to drop mine to 2nd gear just so i have more power to TRY!! to follow. after like 2 mins of following, we both got stuck in the slow lane, I saw the sweet old shoulder and was like, ahhh fuck it, see if he'll have the guts to follow me, so i went on shoulder and guns it. He didnt follow. I then went to a gas station to get gas and there he was, pulling in to get gas. He went up to me and said " Nice move kid", I said thanks. Hes like "I hate to admit it, but in my book, u just beat me. I just got my car this morning and you shoudl be proud to know that you are the first and probably the only one that would ever beat me with my M5. " He was cool, we talked, he then asked how much my car was, i go ticket is $28k, hes like, good now I know what to get my daugther for christmas, I was like yo adopt me, all i want is an M3, hes like haha I actually ordered an M3 for my son for christmas when I got this M5. I didnt get my daugther one cause I didnt think she would know how to use it. " =) okie so anyways, I wouldnt call it beating him with his M5, but he said it himself. He asked me if I want to take the M5 for a spin, i wanted to sooo bad but I cant drive a stick, hes liek no problem, let me show u what this car can do and he took me for a spin. I was like god... This makes my car seem like a geo metro...

haha well after talking to him, I dont think he cares about money at all. Or maybe I just look like a nice kid.

 

If the guy is buying his kids over $80k worth of cars for Xmas, I doubt he has a problem with someone 'testing' his new car. Heck, I don't mind if people know how to drive stick and drive my car...be my guest...as long as I'm in the car with em.

Did that guy have Texas Plates on his car, I know a guy with a black M5 who has a 19 year old daughter and 17 year old son, he is a business partner of my dad lives in the NYC Metro area.
