Happy CL-S Pilot
I would love to know, if this mod is being "dynoed" why can't we buy it?
Any more testing? Waiting SEMA show? I guess being first to market is the key in any business. Also, patenting does not require that you would hold selling. You need only to file.
If you have an investment you would like to get return as soon as possible...
So Why wait? more testing, tweaking, or quality issues. I can understand that.
Any thoughts...

Patience....the forgotten virtue.
I am driving a durability mule, the patent work is pending, and we have committedto a SEMA release date but I might convince an earlier October date if production has ramped up enough to meet initial demand by then.
We warranty our parts so we make them right, test them thoroughly, and hate the word "back-order"....so relax, we're working diligently.

I think BNuT asked if they were making one for the j30a engine before? His response was if I'm not mistaken that it was a little different in size but that they might produce one for the j30a line. Can anyone confirm?

I think the reason Syncivic stopped at 6200 RPM with the NOS run was because he did not want to take the chance of over revving into the redline (fuel cutoff). That's the last thing you want to do when running NOS.
No fuel + N2O = Boom!

I have a question..why is the HP on the baseline run at 6700 RPM's and the run with the mistry mod is at 6600 and with the NOS its at 6200??
Other than that....great job!

Quick ?ion for Syncivic.
You mentioned that this mod was easily installed by the average Joe. I'm also assuming no special tools will be required either.
Waiting and Saving.

The only special tool required is a Brain, I think most (if not all) of you can handle that!!!! Oh, yeah, you'll have to hold your mouth just right to do it in under 5 minutes.

I hope this hasn't been covered in any of the other topics, but I stopped reading them b/c everyone was asking the same questions.....
How do we order this (through you?) and will you have enough supply? You have to figure that selling 100 of them through this board is a high possibilty. Again, I'm sorry if these were asked but I got sick of reading the questions about if it was a sticker.....

One thing is so weird about this mystery mod is that "it can be installed in less 5 minutes by the average joe"....
What it could, a filter? a "re-plumbing hose"
Really a mystery.....

Ok... here's the scans of the latest batch of dyno pulls.
First, the one that started it all:
Again, red hp and purple torque plots are for a stock TL-S with approximately 170 miles on the odo. Blue hp and light blue torque plots are for said TL-S with the Rick Case Super Syncivic Mystery Mod. Finally, green hp and black torque plots are for the same TL-S, with the mod, and a CAI.
---
This is SFLA_Type-S's car:
Red hp and purple torque plots are for his car, as delivered (for a list of his mods, see his signature). Green hp and black torque plots are for his car plus the mod. Since his mods represent the "basics" this graph shows you that there are still more bolt-on gains to be had after the standard H/E/I.
---
Finally, just for sh!ts and giggles, SFLA_Type-S's car and nitrous:
Enjoy!

I haven't been to the track yet, but I did a few runs with the GTECH (I know it is not exactly accurate but it shows the improvments with the Nitrous).
I/H/E: Ran 14.71 @98 mph.
I/H/E + Nitrous: Ran 13.8 @104.5 mph
Overall improvement (w/n2o): 0.9 sec ET & 6.5 MPH

Did you have GTECH runs with the "mystery mod"?
I think with the "mystery mod" maybe a 13.7, 13.6

Taking a look at the stock TLS' chart I noticed that there is a big jump in the HP and a nice one in the torque at around 5750RPM.
Does anyone have any insight as to why that is so? Just curious.
