B-Pipe Noise Increase

Just curious for those that have the Comptech B-Pipe installed, how much louder did the exhaust get with it? I have the comptech axle-back now.

Chap said that it got more of a drone on highway I believe, but he is NA. I'm sure with s\c it will get louder. but with forced induction it is definetly useful to open up that exhaust

Yeah after hearing a CL w/ just the CT Axleback installed, the full cat back exhaust does sound a bit deeper and on the highway the droning is a bit louder. Not that huge a difference though.

Mine did increase cabin noise, but it is worth it. It does make the car sound more aggressive as well...very rumble like. Performance did increase. I don't have any dyno #s though maybe 5-6 Hp extra with SC and 2-3 with NA.

The CT axle-back for me. Looks great on the car and no clearance Issues.

Is the exhaust highly needed with S/C? Or can I go without?

I had the b-pipe installed before the S/C. The first thing I noticed is that the car felt more drivable; engine rev'd smoother throughout the rev range and there was a slight increase in mid to high-end torque. According to CompTech, it will make about 5-8 WHP gain on a S/C'd 6MT car and improve drivability. Ask Red Rider about the b-pipe. He had the b-pipe installed on his already S/C'd 5AT. I think he likes it...

With the CT exhaust and b-pipe installed, should make 10-14 WHP more, make car more drivable and let's not forget about sounding really nice.

2) for you NA guys with it, any notice to loss of low end torque?
3) how much more noticeable is highway drone?
