How do you like the Khumos Ecstas on your car? Do you recommend them to anybody? How do they compare to the stock tires?

Un freaking believable grip. On a flat, dry road I can barely brake the fronts loose in 1st, never in 2nd (VSA off). In the wet, it's like you're driving with a wet vac in front of the tires.

I haven't done an event with them yet, but they are awesome. Definitely the best for the money. I went 225/45-17 and at 80, the speedo is off 1 mph or so.

At $105 a tire, they can't be beat.

If you want more info, AIM me at AcuraJ32A2 or ICQ me 6755755.

Yep, the 712's aren't the stickiest tire out there, but they're definitely the best wet/dry tire for the money! If you're on a budget and all you care about is dry, then get the Falken Azenis (the new hot tire of STS), but otherwise get the 712's!

Spiro,

Did you see the grip that I got on the track with mine? I got the same ones on the M3. I don't know what it is, something just doesn't make me comfortable with them at triple digit speeds, I felt that my Pirelli P-Zeros gave me the extra comfort, but they didn't have the cool tread like the Supras.

Damaged,

How long have you had yours? How's your treadwear?
