i know this belongs in av/electronics but i needed some quick responses before i purchase either of these amps

i just bought this on ebay, w3v2 dual four ohm, 12 in
which of these amps will be best for this sub, i want to be able to put this sub to its potential

running the sub to its full potential is 4//4 so 2ohms.
Both amps should suffice, i'd suggest the 351m since its single channel layout makes it more of a 'subwoofer ready' amplifier.
The 301m should pack a punch as well... and you could use it for something other than subs too later on.

but with the little price difference and considering that the w3 shouldn't be underestimated, i'd say go with the 351m mono amp.
as for the box, 30 bucks shipped isn't too bad for an mdf 3/4" enclosure. Remember to stuff a small bit of polyfill in there too.

 

Def get the 351M (the second one). It's in the Power series. The first amp is a Punch series, which has been BestBuy-ed, and they suck now.

Def stick some polyfill or R19 in the box as it looks like a perfect cube.
