Audi 1.8 Turbo

Looks like I convinced another dude to get CL-S. I was driving home yesterday and I see black new Audi A4 1.8 T. This dude was righting with his chick and he decided to show up and cut in front of me. He tried 4 times and never got a chance. He got mad. Then he got next to me and opened his window and said do you want to run? I said are you sure about it? He's face was like Ummm he said yes, so I turned VSA off got to SS and on 1st gear I took him like one car 2nd gear I took him like 2 cars and there was history. I stopped one the gas station after, and he rolled up to me and said can I check out your car, I said are you sure??? He check my car engine, trunk, interior and he was like man that car is awesome, when I told him how much I paid he was like no way. I am getting this car. Turns out to be that was his brother’s car. And he was about to get another Audi for himself.

Please forgive my English if writing not good.

Thanks

Come on, that's not fair. Step up to the plate and run with an S4. Picking on the poor little 1.8T engine. For shame

Hehehe....if the S4 were FWD, it would be a good race with a CL-S. Damn you guys have great 60FT times!

Yeah, the AWD definitely helps out the 60FT times and the 0-60 times. But I think we are a good challenge in the higher speed races too. I have gone against a couple of CL-S and we were about even. I used to have a Legend Coupe, 1992 5spd. I LOVED that car. I would not mind a CL-S at all. Although I need a 4 door so I would have to wait for the TL-S to be released with a 6 speed, then I would have to seriously consider it.

Yeah, the manual Legend Coupes were great! Wasn't there a 6-spd version as well? I wanted one, but at the time, couldn't afford one on a college student budget .

If the TL-S comes out with a 6-spd, I too would seriously consider it.

Don't get me wrong, I love the 1.8T engine. It is truly a great engine and the perfect choice for a car if you have modding in mind.

Yes Fdao, it did come in a 6 speed. It also had 30 more HP. I missed it by one year though. Still, my Legend was a great car and I do miss it.

Dont sweat it. I dont like trolling around but i do like the Type S models. Well with the exception to the RSX. And the S4 is just 2 sweet. I thought of getting it for my next ride, but i think i will end up with a STI, or EVO.

And the CL-S was in consideration when i bought my GTI, but i just wanted more performance. I loved the CL-S, for the fact of great bang for the buck. The money saved i used as modding. My friends new CL-S with the 6spd is nice. Soon once he gets headers and all, he will probably beat me with the mods i have now. But next month i will have a Stage 3 ARP..........he might just have to look at my rear bumper.
