you should warn a person before posting something so graphic and upsetting.
I feel for ya man. I hope the idiot that rear ended you has worse damage to their car.

My bride had it the other morning, driving it to work. She was stopped in traffic on a two-lane with a center turn lane. She noticed the guy behind her, didn't look like he was going to stop and was rolling up on her at about 10 MPH. So she got in the left turn lane to avoid him.
Behind him was a young mother, with her 2-3 year old in the car, not paying ANY attention whatsoever. She nailed him doing 40 MPH or so. Since he was still rolling he was launched forward and left. Right into my wife and the CL-S sitting in the left turn lane. The force of the "pinch" spun the guy in the middle 180. His momentum had sent my wife into on coming traffic. Luckily there was no one approaching from the other direction due to the light being red. Otherwise she mostly likely would have been T-Boned as well.
Her back is a little sore, and she's really upset about "my baby." But she IS my baby and that's all that matters.
Of course now that she seems to be okay, I can't help but be sick about the car that had not had a scratch, or ding in the 26,000 miles it's been driven. There is a reason I park at the very end of all lots, regardless of weather.
Neither the male, or the women who caused the accident, approached my wife to see if she was ok.

I haven't got a final number on the damage yet. I should have that Monday. One thing that really worries me is that the exhaust took a hell of a hit. You can see how the right muffler and pipe are pushed way up under the car. I'm worried about how much of that force was transfered to the engine, through the cat and piping, and up to the exhaust manifold.
