Apexi Neo and 6-speed Tranny

So most of you guys know I have a swapped TL-S 6-speed, but i'm looking into buying an apexi neo because i'm not looking for crazy mods as this is my daily driver. I was wondering if it's hard to wire the 6-speed ecu to the Apexi neo. Is there any difference? Will it complicate things because my car was an auto originally?

best advice i've heard all day!! you don't want to hard wire the neo to the ecu.

his ecu kept over riding the neo after a few days. Sp basically the tune became non existent until he reset the ecu, but it just happens again and again and again LOL

REALLY!?! that just sucks a big one, I was so looking forward to getting a neo and the boomslang then getting it tuned being that its really the only "plug and play" engine managment/piggy back out there, unless there's another one that've missed for the 03 CLS6. Does any one know of aem makes one?

aem makes one but noone has tried it and doesnt know the benefits. Theres greddy emanage tho. You can get a boomslang for that and get that tuned but I dunno if the ecu can override that either.

A fellow Cl'er should be running it soon (aem's piggyback) with another little surprise. I'm sure he'll post up his feedback on the system when he gets everything setup... I was interested in the neo as well, but no sense in getting it if the ecu will just override the tune over time. anybody else running it have any feedback?
