AP-Signworks dash/trim kits

Anyone have these in their CL? Got pics? I'd love to replace the crappy black wood finish in my CLS with some nice titanium or aluminum trim.

I agree, but no one makes a kit like that. I don't know why. Seems all we can do is make something out of the carbon fiber film.

Actually AP Signworks does have them, but nobody has any pics of them after the install. I'd like to see how it looks before i drop $200+ on a kit.

The Acura World guys had a group buy for the TL going, but the thread mysteriously died... We could ask AP about a group buy if there was enough interest. I'd like pics first, though.

carbon fiber wouldn't look good in my car...I'm going to get mine done by a buddy who is doing some special designs for me...The wood trim I'm going to replace with a black fiberglass that has red swirl in it...It's hard to explain but looks kick ass...

I don't think they were pieces to cover the faux wood, that was an aluminum (not sticker) set that was for like the stereo, air vents and stuff that is now black. I want a 6 piece kit that covers the faux blackwood crap. noone has made one to date, or atleast not that i'm away of. I'd be interested if you could get someone to make it though.

Any word on a group by. sounds like a lot of people would be interested, including myself.

Nope, no response. Someone else wanna try? Most of the e-mails i've sent lately haven't been getting through, so it might be something wrong on my end.

The kit does not exist. there is no kit that covers the faux blackwood trim.

Just be careful guys... the Group-Buy that was done with them for the door sills was a nightmare. People not receiving their products, when they did, it was months late.... people got damaged products.... etc.

And on top of it they are incredibly slow to respond. Just be aware before you jump into a group-buy with them. If you do one... make sure that the person who sets it up has a good relationship with them... that way you know at least someone can get in touch with them....
