for anyone who snowboards

and finds that they can't fit their board through the pass through

i took the pass through out of my back seat (the whole plastic and locking door) and my snowboard fits fine (it's a 158cm regular width, and i put my boots and helmet and everything into my snowboard bag). no need for ugly roof racks or anything like that.

part 11 in the picture.

you still have a cover to the trunk (because of the arm rest), and the hole is much larger because that plastic piece is no longer there.

downsides: you can possibly tear the leather because that plastic pass through isn't protecting the armrest anymore, but if you're careful, it's not a problem.

and i suppose you can do this for anything that is large. it's quite a shame that the seats don't fold, though.

i actually didn't think 2 boards would fit. but my bag has my boots and my gf's bag is just her board (144cm). so if you help it in, they will fit. but 1 board by itself will fit for sure.

That looks kind of clean without the door there...but alas, I don't have a need to remove it so I won't
