Exclamation Emergency Help !!!

SO TODAY I GET IN MY CAR AND DROVE FOR A LIL BIT AND ALL OF A SUDDEN ITS STARTED TO OVER HEAT, i WENT AND GOT ANTI-FREEZE AND ADDED SOME BECAUSE THE RESIVOUR WAS LOW, THEN I WAS RUNNING ALOT BETTER. sO I DROVE DOWNTOWN, IT WAS ALL GOOD, BUT THEN ON MY WAY HOME IT STARTED AGAIN AND SO I TURNED ON THE HEAT AND IT GOT WORSE SO I PULLED OVER AND SHUT IT OFF. WHEN IT COOLED I DROVE HOME. what the fuck could it be please help

now second questions, is it covered with the power train warranty? my car is goin into the shop tomorrow for the new trans cause mine is fucked and it happens to be under the settlement and i have a broke center motor mount.

probably thermostat or possible air bubble in the system.

Since it's going in anyway, mention it to the service guys & play dumb. They may just fix it for you.

I think they have to drain the coolant anyway.

Probably a bubble or air pocket somewhere in one of your coolant hoses.

could definitly be a air pocket cuz if u filled it and it was ok then it sounds resonable, if its ur thermostat i dunt think you would be able to drive cuz it would keep over heating...def mention it the acura parts/service..by me the people are nice say its ur friends CL havin a problem haha.. and if it continues bring it back to acura and blame it on them tell em it was fine when u came in n now its broke hahaha

thermostat, rad cap, bubble. all possible explanations.

btw, did you fill with 50/50 mix or pure antifreeze ?

The initial problem of being low on coolant is the concern. Could be as simple as a bad thermostat causing a boil over of coolant to a blown head gasket. Good thing it's going in.
