Anyone try to remove a dent with a Airduster

Well i noticed one day as i was walking to my car a ding in my door. I was like what the FU@k. I'm really careful when parking my car too. So, what would any person do, stare at it aimlessly for an unimaginable amount time and thinking why and how could this have happened.

Anyways i stumble upon a youtube video showing how to remove a dent by heating the door with a hairdryer and using the airduster to quickly cool the metal. Thus the end result being a popping of the metal outward due to the sudden change in the metal extreme heat to extreme cold.

ThIS SHIET does not work. DO NOT WASTE you time trying to do this. I'm now scouring youtube to learn how to massage a dent out.

i think it works on larger dents. and sometimes it doesn't work. but hey, its not a big deal, don't rely on stuff like that. it seems to work on some people. there were some complaints about the dent not poping out completely, but what could you expect for ~7 bucks.

You sure it's supposed to be a heat gun, not a hair dryer. A hair dryer puts out shit for heat if your trying to to something with metal.

I kinda wanted to try that method but I was afraid of potential damage to the clearcoat/paint. And of course, afraid that it might not work just like the damn "dent king" that is collecting dust in my garage somewhere.

A dent place will take care of it for around $70. Save up.

I got this guy who is a mobile dent remover...he will meet you anywhere in town, and he charge s$80 a panel. So I'm waiting until I get more than one tiny ding before I call him up, haha.

Heat gunn...uhhhh that shiet seems scary... I'm sure the heat gun works better but i'm just not ready to see my paint run down the side of my car.

As for saving up money and paying someone, sure thats the easy way but if i can do it myself. Well i'm going to try that first.
