Dude, you've had plenty of time to post the pics of your ride. People have been asking you to post pics for almost two months now. If it were me with supposedly all this dope stuff on my ride I would be antsy to post it. You've had enough time to really paint the car, if you were bs'ing in the first place.

You must be pretty rich...cross drilled rotors!?! Those are 2K, your wheels...close to 1500..custom install of a PS2 and a new system...about what??? 2500-3K? And the paint, if you did change it...that wasn't very smart....no paint job is as good as a factory one...if you painted it blue...did you paint the inside door jams and engine bay? 5K at least...so, either your very rich...in which case you should have a bought a better car (sorry, I love my CL-S too but we all know there are a lot better cars out there) or you scammed the hell out of your car..

...that used to be true nowadays with laquer gone bye bye and cost cuts aftermarket paint is typically better short of MAACO...

If you get your car paint altered, your resale value goes to hell right? What if you got the dealer to paint it? I know they would over charge like crazy but then again..there are some people on this board alone that are spending crazy amounts on mods? So if you had to repaint, and the dealer does the job, does that kill resale value?

My Car

With the quality of the paint that our cars have on them I can’t see an aftermarket paint job having that much of an effect after the car is 3-4 years old. Hell, it might even hold up better.
If you go with a wild color, you may have a hard time finding a buyer, but if it is done right it will sell.

In the “how much for mods” post you said: “custom paint job 2000.00”
What’s the story there ????

I knew a girl back in college that had a ton of chips and dings in her 2-year old Cavalier Z-24.
She dumped paint thinner on it so it looked like vandalism and she got a new paint job from her insurance company for the 200-dollar comprehensive deductible.
If someone is the dishonest type like she was, I guess this could work quite well.

I see...hmmm, I still tend to disagree on the quality of paint. For a luxury car division, and Acura wants to be that...they would give it a luxury car paint job, right??? I hope anyway....at least its probably about 3 or 4 coats...how many for yours MC? Yeah...I figure your custom paint job should cost around 3-4K if you know the place...otherwise, I know my friend charges like 5K to the insurance company..
