Anyone notice this light?

I discovered this light about a couple of weeks after i got the car. I have to say its pretty ingenious. it only comes on when you turn on your headlights. the blue cover makes the light a good tint but i think if the cover was off then it would be a lot brighter. anyone know how to take off the cover?

I've fiddled with it before. I don't believe the plastic piece is meant to be off.

I just DISCOVERED this, since I just bought my car 2 years ago...
When I drive my car at night and get out before shutting it off...
There are these lights on the bumper, and I was wondering if there was a way to take off the lenses to have them be brighter...

Anyone know how this can be done?

It's all in good humor dude.

I know how you feel about the light honestly. When I realized mine was illuminated inside I thought it was pretty cool. ... now I'm off to wire one up in the Jeep....

I do know that my 03 6spd doesn't have it... the auto 03's should.

I checked the Helms and I actually when out to the car last night to check...

The console/cupholders on the 6spds are different too from the automatics... the power socket is in the back and not on the front of the console like the old ones...

I think its a decent trade off... I don't mind loosing the console light to gain the 3rd pedal
