Anyone with Helms manual please read
Can one of you with the helms manual explain to me how to remove the back seat? I know it might be a pain to explain, but if you could I would really appreciate it. I'd like to be able to get at my Konis on my own to adjust them. Thanks.

JZ,
Once you have the rear seat out, you can drill a small hole into the rear deck right next to the outside front corner of each speaker. This is just above the shock. Next, take one of the two adjustment knobs that came with your Koni's and with some pliers pull out the plastic insert inside the knob. Next take some thin wall tubing about 1/3" diameter and 4" long. Use some type of strong epoxy to glue this into the knob. Before glueing, use a hammer and lightly tap one end of the tube so it somewhat flatend. This will have a shape similar to the opening of the plastic piece that you pulled out of the knob. Once the epoxy has dried (24hrs) you will now be able to insert your newly created tool into the small holes in your rear deck to adjust your shocks. These holes are nearly invisible and allow you to adjust the shocks while sitting in the back seat. Having done all of this, I find that I rarely ever adjust my shocks. The adjustment range is a little less than two full turns from full soft to full firm. I run about 1/3 turn in front and one full turn in rear.

Rock Dog,
Can you post that scan of the back seat removal or email it to me? I need to rewire my amplifier so that the power lead's not running through the trunk pass-thru. TIA!!
