yeah they'll stick out a tiny bit - I believe Stealth CL has them on his ride.

FYI - there is no 2004 CL.

What does the drop have to do with it? I was seriously considering getting these for my car but I don't want to lose the nice soft ride quality.

um because when your dropped you lose wheel travel and its easier to rub. and with them being so wide, they barely fit up into the fender. Thats why they barely fit. and its not because of the width of the whell or tire its because of the offset of the rim. thats what you have to look for in rims, not so much size and width

Ok, so you were more commenting on the fact that they do fit, only barely, with the car dropped. I was mistaken in reading that the two went hand in hand somehow. I don't plan on dropping the car because I like the stock ride quality. Info on the wheel above is "17 x 8" / 64.1mm hub centric". How does this translate to offset or do these numbers not contribute to that at all? Thanks!

no they have a 45 offset, if youre not going to drop the car the plan for them to stick out a little, if you do then they will tuck a little better due to the slight neg. camber you get. let me get my old thread
