I was thinking of do a hand brake swap for a couple reasons.

1 it's more fun
2 it's easyier to use
3 I will save a little weight.

So I need to know, do I need to drill holes or are holes already there for the hand brake ?

u will need to drill out 2 of the three holes that hold the handbrake

 

What size do they have to be tapped ?

Just ordered the hand brake stuff and I don't have the bolts in hand yet to know the thread and pitch.

I think I paid 71.25 shipped for the handle setup and little pieces. I need to pass inspection in the next few weeks.
I'll get the cup holders when I decide to put the interior back in.
I'm still playing.

 

You dont have to tap anything if you are careful drilling (you can see the area to drill). The nut is welded to the car. The bolt is a M8X30
