Any real gains from the Apexi AFC NEO
I have a TL-S w/comptech supercharger and I getting two gauges installed tomorrow and tech at the shop suggested that I should get a greddy e-mange ultimate so I said what about the Apexi neo and he said the e-mange has more adjustability. Would either one of these be worth buying and tuning? Any real gains?

I asked the same question a week or so ago to some members. Never really got a good responce back. My problem is finding a shop that is knowledgable on tunning E-Managment. Every one around here doesn't want to touch it. They all want to use Honda Data....no luck for us. Anyways, E-managment has more adjustability and has more options, but for me I'm only using it for fuel managment (and have a basic program at that). So I don't see why you could not get aways with it. Clinton

Ptuning.com is installing my gauges and I think they use the e-mange in allot of other cars so they think that’s it’s the best solution. I asked him what kind of numbers and he said he couldn’t tell me. I can’t see spending $600.00 for the e-mange and $400.00 to dyno tune it for 10 hp.I’m just trying to see what would be better for my car and get a ball park figure of what I could get.

yup, its much more complex than an afc neo. neo would only take an hour to two to tune. the j32runs nicely as is with the factory tune as most have figure out. unless you have big mods, you will only net around 10whp.
i'm expecting to get 15 or more w/ my current setup.
the original poster should use an emanage. he will need to control timing a bit whereas an n/a setup would not and neo would work fine.

so you think I would get some good gains with the e-manage?
