Hey wuzz upp , I'm kinda a newbie and wanted to know if any Cl's (First Gens and second gens) want to start our own little chapter or what ever of a acura CL club. I am up in Boston MASS and would like to start a club-like meetings for CL owners like what the integra owners have around this area. Anyone interested in it ?

 

I would if a you don't mind a TLS joining the crowd!

 

It's totally cool to have some TL's in the NE Acura Club (I think thats what we're gonna call it). Anyone else who wants to join ?

 

I am interested... however, I am in NH... so, I hope the meets are north of Boston and pretty interesting ... I am in .....

 

I'm thinking of a meet at the drag strip at NH or maybe even the mall in NH , Dunno any ideas ? I just don't wanna meet at a dunkin donuts or something because it might get boring.

 

Both are very cool ... the mall is few steps away, and I do drag my car 4-5 times a year

Maybe a dyno day could be a welcomed idea too...

 

Im definately in. For all of you MA people, what town do you live in? I am in Norwood (southwest of Boston)... only takes me 20 min to be in downtown Boston. I'll drive to NH though too, not a problem. I think it would be pretty cool to meet when the weather gets better. Hope this works and we can coordinate this.

 

I live in Randolph MA, and I'm gonna try to get some RSX's to join us and maybe some Integras also. Maybe we can have a RSX vs Integra race if we goto the drag strip

i drag my cars about 20 times ayear.

i set up 2 dyno days for the RSX club last year with another one coming in May

i'm sure atleast 5-10 RSX would show for regular type of meet aswell

I've been getting a life...and working thank god. 7 months of unemployment was enough.

 

NED opens the first weds of April.

NEDT offers a group rate of $65 a person(10 minimum) with 3-6 runs on the Dyno!

i have a Personal Mechanic whom is my next door neighbor and works on my RSX
he's a head Mechanic for a Honda/Acura shop now.
But he should be getting his own Garage within a week or so.

 

nashua, you got the stone headers? what happened to your obx's?

 

not yet... I will be getting the new STONE headers soon... then, I may sell the OBX headers...

 

Maybe by the end of January... But if I will be dynoing before and after... I would like to do it at or very close to the dyno shop.

 

Where did you order your OBX headers from? I can't seem to find any place that has them...

Also, what town is your friend's garage going to be in? I am planning to do some mods in the near future and would be interested in a good mechanic.

 

So are people thinking of meeting some time in the spring then? I live in CT now but grew up in Arlington MA. So Id definately be up for meeting up with some fellow Mass-%^#$s....jk...i wont say it :-)....
