Anti-roll (sway) bars... which is the best?

I've been driving around a 325 and a prelude for a while now. Now that i'm back in my CL, just kinda getting sick of the nasty handling. Time to get sways.

On ACP the Eibachs are the thickest... They're also the most expensive. Has anyone tried out several others to give a comparison as to which might be the best? I've noticed though that from whatever bars people choose, its much better than stock so the testimonial is very positive in all cases.

I'm really only interested in getting only the rear bar, which reduces most of the sway (am i right?). And i'm kinda on a limited budget too.

Neuspeed was the only one there that sells only rears.... Has anyone tried them out? Any suggestions? Does Eibach or Comptech sell rears only, or do I have to buy the set?

Andy -

I know CT & Eibach sell theirs in a set while I think only Neuspeed sells the front & rear sway separately. However, the Neuspeed rear is not as thick as the CT or Eibach ones.

look for toby on the V6 forums, he'll probably be able to swing the eibach's for $250.

Be carefull with the thicker sways, I've heard stories in the past where they've caused some problems with the stock bushing/joints.

just to let you know i already tried toby recently and he can't get eibach hook ups anymore. he did too many and now there is some sort of restriction. you can call Turboevo.com and they can probably hook you up with the eibach sways for $285. the eibach's are a mm thicker then the comptechs

comptech or eibach, can't go wrong with either one. Buy whichever you can get cheapest.

From what i remember the comptechs are hollow right? What about the eibachs. If i had the money to get sways now id get the eibach. If you just want the rear either find someone selling a used one or just get the neuspeed.

CTs are hollow in the front, solid in rear.

Neuspeed is solid all around, but smaller diameter than CT for rear (non-race sway).

Eibach is same size as CT and solid all around.

I have Neuspeed fronts/CT backs and it feels great.

I thought they were solid, but Eibach's front bar is actually tubular just like CT's...but, it's supposed to be "less" hollow.

The CT front is much lighter than the rear...I've knocked on both of them and front is hollow.

I had them on my old prelude. The brackets they provided were junk. They actually pulled the nuts out of the sub frame because the bracket was too flexible. The front bar was 1 1/4 solid too which is way too big. They are cheaply made. Wouldn't recomend.
