Permanently disable VSA, and what happens if the next owner gets in an accident? Just hope they don't find out you disabled a safety feature?
Even if you hook it back up, plaintiff's counsel may contend you didn't get it right.

John there are two clocks, one for your reaction time to the green and one for the car which is activated when your front tires leave and break the beam. Say you and your buddy have identically quick cars and both run run the same time, but he sits there one full second after the green comes on. Your times will be the same, say 14.50 but the rule is first to finish wins. So therefore the reaction time clock simply tells you (as a driving aid) how quick you were to react to the green. Leave too soon and you get a red light, leave .001 sec after it illuminates and you'll likely smear your friend and faster cars as well, because FIRST TO FINISH WINS! Hope this helps.

Here is your slower M3 SMG (sequential MANUAL GEARBOX) (which is an automated MT, not a slushbox) http://www.caranddriver.com/shortroa...mw-m3-smg.html Slower by 0.3 seconds to 60 I might add and that. If you don’t believe me that those automated manuals are still MTs read this.

I guess the guys in the NHRA should just sit at the tree all day using this logic.
Again, not all tracks do this, sir.

Clean CL is exactly right, FIRST TO FINISH WINS, reaction time only measures you against the tree. Yes you can beat a top fuel dragster if he leaves 10 or 11 seconds after you do. You turn a 15.0, he does a 15.1 you win.
