Best locks you can ever buy, also, if you lose or break a key, they replace it! Lifetime warranty.

As for welding, you can give it a try, but if your locks have a low tolerance of space, they newly-welded key will not fit.

If your paint is not sticking initially, you will have problems with it a few weeks from now. You don't want burned-paint on your wheels. How did you prep the calipers? Did you sand them? Sticking additional coats will not solve your problem of paint sticking, it will only further it.

When I painted my calipers on my other car, I used brake cleaner, a wire brush, steel-wool, and aluminum polishing brush, 100, 200, 300, and 400 grit sandpaper to smooth the roughness and raised portions. Took about 2 days from prep to finish. I then added a high-temp adhesive to the paint, let it sit for 20 minutes, then painted the caliper with 3 coats using a sponge brush. 4 years later, the calipers are still bright and shiny like day one.

well i used soap and water first to clean the caliper, than i noticed that wasnt working well...

Than i used bleach stuff and sand paper..... Than i let it dry off and used some 500 degree paint on it... I painted my rear ones awhile back abt 2-3 weeks ago and they are still fine... jst a little dirt which i can blast off w/ the water hose...
