Another Beemer bites the dust!

So my girl and I are headed to dinner last night. I come to a stop light right before taking a left onto the highway on ramp (Loop 202 for those from my area). As we're sitting at the light I see bluish/purple HID's heading right behind me and then quickly shift over to my right. A white Beemer pulls up and I tell my girl that he's going to race. As usual she's like I don't get it. LOL! Anyway I gate shift it into D1. He's slowly creaping up I'm guessing to get a jump on me when the light turns green. Green light. I take the turn and he's right at my fender, I go WOT and he's still right there, D2 slowly pulling away, and by the time I hit 3rd I'm a car lenth on him. He stays behind me so I couldn't get a good look at what it was. About a 1/4 mile later I merge onto another highway and I see him go straight and I get a good long look. It was a beautiful white 330i with BBS mesh wheels. God I kicking some German ass!

Thanks guys! All the sudden it's like every other day I'm getting into an encounter. Loving it!

I did a quick image search on Google for a 330i and this picture came up. It looked almost identical to this car.

Nice run!

I ran a little with a friend in his M6 this wknd. On an entrance ramp he gunned it from behind me as soon as we got on the highway (I was thinking he'd line up next to me and then we'd go). He had a bit of momentum already and it took me a few seconds to match his speed and then start to reel him in a little. We didn't really do much after that b/c of traffic but I know I had to at least have 2-3mph more punch than him to be gaining like I did... Either way, that M6 is one fast car stock!

BTW, my time below is b/f headers and a re-tune.

^ LOL, I'm reading that thinking you have a CL-S and I'm just shaking my head thinking what is this guy thinking we'd believe he'd keep up with a M6. I was like is there a M6 from the 1980's or something that was fast for the day or something. Then I saw the sig, remembered your car and it all made sense. Good stuff! I was just checking out the BMW website and was checking out the M6 specs. Starting at $90 g's. Crazy. I actually heard one take off from a gas station in Scottsdale a few months ago and honestly I wasn't very impressed with the exhaust note. Sounded kind of cherry bomb like. I'm sure it's a whole different experience behind the wheel, though.

Oh, and in true summer street encounter style I took out a brand spanking new black WRX from a roll on the way home from getting my oil changed today.
