Amplifier question. Any recomended model?
I am thinking about getting a Amplifier on my CLS. I wanna keep my stock speakers though. Please tell me if there is a decent amplifier that would work with stock speakers properly. Thanks.

CL4JK,
If you're goimg to get aftermarket amp then you'll need replace front & rear speakers as well cause the Bose stock speakers are rated at differ ohm.
What is your budget($$$) & how loud you want your system to be will be ask by installer to match your needs.

I just wanna get a little better sound, that's all. I don't wanna spend too much. Besides, I don't like subs and I just wanna get clearer sound. By the way, Is Sony good? and how many channels do I need for Stock speakers?

Sonys are not that great. I've heard them, and I wasnt impressed. You would need a 4 channel amp.

Mcintosh also costs an arm and a leg. Some good amps are PPI, a/d/s, Zapco, Phoenix Gold, US Amps. All of these will sound good.

Go to ebay and Look up these Items:
MB quart DSD 216 6.5" comp. $160
MB quart DTC 169 6X9 $120
Rockford Fosgate 400 A4 $220
install(any local shop) $150
total= $650
Probably the cheapest way to get anything noticably better sounding, though I still think a sub is needed, even a single 10" mounted flush with the ski port.
