am i leaking coolant or is this normal

i went to get an oilchange lastnight and the guy told me my coolant is low, so he filled it for me. i have 32k miles on my 03 and i havent gotten the 30k mile service yet. i havent noticed any leaking issues, but i havent really been paying attention either. Ive have not noticed or experienced any overheating issues or anything bad related to this.

is it normal for my coolant to be low already, or do you think it could be a waterpump issue or leak?

thanks

cause my buddy is trying to tell me my car is too new to be low on coolant that that it should replenish itself, and should not be filled up.

The overflow coolent tank hose can pop off quite easily, leaking a small amount of coolent after time.
