Almost Time for New Brakes

Guys, when I go in reverse off my driveway, I hear a screeching sound similar to what my Mom heard on her accord when the brakes need changing.. So, I know it's about time for new brakes, but how long can I go on these? It's not a loud, pervasive screech.. but Ido of course notice it.. My next oil change isnt for another 3-4 weeks.. Can I wait or should I get it done sooner than later?
Thanks

I did, but u will start noticing that u won't stop as well pretty quicky. But depending if u want ur rotors to be reuseable, time can make a difference here. I had one wheel's pad that was bare metal and it pretty much destroyed one of my rotors. But it was ok because i was planning to upgraded to cross drilled for the look.
