Not really needed on the current CL as they have about as good as you can get. Individual coils on the plugs...

I guess for the previous gen CL there might be a use. But that needs to be determined, is the factory system falling short??

Having more spark with mods is never a bad thing. But unless the stock system is worn you probably wouldn't see much in changing out items. But once it is time there is no reason to stick with the stock peices. Change out everything from the coil(s), cap, plugs and wires at one time...

CLPower is running NOS. It would probably help him out. If you do get an ignition get the MSD.

note: if you have a V1 and get an MSD digital ignition, plan on losing laser detection, you will have to shut it off due to interference.

Thought of calling Jacobs Engineering to see if they have anything available....tried their system on my Dakota 318 and it's no BS what they say about improvement in the mileage and power department. Of course, Chrysler uses the cheapest coil you can find.

no you call up their engineering department, and they will give you a series of instructions to do to your V1 to shut down the laser detector part. we ran into this prob. on an integra, so you may luck out .. let us know what happens

Get a MSD...best on the market...Jacobs suck!!! Something seems to break on them all the time...I ordered from them twice too!!! The wires always break...somewhere and then it's a bitch trying to figure out which wire is broken.
